Fundraising bootcamp

Bootcamp

Are you exploring a venture capital investment? Join our Fundraising Bootcamp for startups and scale-ups. Get coaching from experts and get in touch with the most relevant investors via StartupRoulette or direct intros.

An investment can help them grow faster and scale internationally. But not every startup fits the venture capital model or is investor ready.

To prepare you for an investment, we regularly organize a Fundraising Bootcamp, sometimes with regional partners. In this bootcamp you learn to look at your company like an investor would, you get tips in an individual coaching session to improve your pitch and investor readiness and we put you in touch with the most relevant investors, for example via StartupRoulette, our speeddate event, or via direct introductions.

It’s a unique opportunity for startups and scale-ups that are growing fast and want to explore investment to go even faster. Are you one of those ambitious entrepreneurs?

Program

On the first day there are masterclasses about venture capital, investor readiness and fundraising, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet other founders. We aim for a small group of around 5 startups and scale-ups, so there is plenty of room for interaction and questions.

After that you will get a process with individual coaching based on your needs, including:

  • feedback on pitchdeck
  • tips to improve investor readiness
  • advice about funding need and type of investment
  • advice about fundraising strategy
  • review of termsheets
  • access to templates for pitchdecks, termsheets, convertible notes, SARs etc

We can provide you with warm introductions with the most relevant investors such as angel investors and (international) venture capital funds.

For whom

We are looking for (tech) startups and scale-ups that want to raise a (venture capital) investment in the next 6 to 12 months. It does not matter if you have raised funding before.

We select about 5 startups from the applications. We make an assessment whether we can help a startup in such a way that it can raise funding within a year. Traction/monthly turnover is a clear indicator of product-market fit for us, so companies with no turnover are (probably) a bit too early for this edition.
