We’re excited to announce the successful closure of a €2.4M Seed round of our portfolio company Valyuu! With this round, Valyuu wants to become the most efficient and sustainable recirculation platform for pre-owned goods.
The investment is led by Dutch impact VC Rubio Impact Ventures and consumer VC Slingshot Ventures, with additional backing from US-based Techstars, Golden Egg Check Capital and strategic investors, including Geert-Jan Smits, Kees Verpalen as well as our current angel investors who have extended their allocations.

Valyuu was one of the first investments we did with GEC Capital. At that time co-founder & CEO Ferhat Topuz and his team had not even launched their marketplace model, so it was early-early, but we had convidence in the founders and their domain expertise. Happy we did!
