Meet our new analyst Lucía Meseguer! 24 years old, Spanish roots, graduate in Economics and Business Economics (BSc) and International Management (MSc) from Utrecht University and the newest Golden Egg Check team member. Lucia has been living in the Netherlands for almost 5 years, having moved in 2019 for her Bachelor. 

At Golden Egg Check she will be assisting the team with organising StartupRoulette, funding analysis, scouting startups for both our own fund and external organisations, helping organize team events – and whatever is needed. “All I want to do is learn, learn and learn while improving my skills,” Lucía says. “I am really enthusiastic about this opportunity as it allows me to dive deeper into all the aspects of venture capital while helping impactful projects that shape the future.” 

“I am looking forward to working with founders who believe in their ideas and do whatever they need to make these ideas work. I met some of those inspirational people during our Founders Retreat this summer. I love the fact we can help these people make it happen.”

Lucía already has experience in the Dutch tech ecosystem; she previously worked for a startup and two scale-ups. “I believe I’ll bring a strong combination of proactivity, adaptability, and motivation to the Golden Egg Check team. I’m someone who naturally takes initiative and thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, always ready to think creatively and act quickly when challenges arise.”

“Last but not least, I also hope to bring a positive team spirit – with a healthy dose of Spanish good vibes and a love for great food!”
