Het fonds richt zich volledig op Nederlandse hightech startups en scale-ups die vaak baanbrekende technologie combineren met een grote potentie.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Maar toekomst voorspellen blijft lastig. \u201cHet is alsof je een vliegtuig bouwt terwijl je al in de lucht zit. \u00d3f je stort neer, \u00f3f je bereikt grote hoogtes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harm\u2019s roots liggen in de advocatuur. In die sector leerde hij veel over de juridische kant van bedrijven opzetten. Na zijn jaren als advocaat zette Harm samen met een partner achtereenvolgens drie relatief kleine early-stage venture capital fondsen op die hun pijlen richtten op tech-bedrijven die voortkomen uit universiteiten: het Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund, het Life Sciences Fund Amsterdam en het Twente Technology Fund. Harm: \u201cHet begon in 2007 met part-time fondsmanagment, maar na een paar jaar runden we drie fondsen parallel met elk zes \u00e0 zeven deals.
